(The hit) was borderline, probably. There's no question it was on the edge. It was ruled a clean hit, but I recognize when you hit the other team's captain, somebody's coming to stand up for him. I don't want to hurt a guy.

That was 18 months of inactivity there, ... It was very exciting to get back out there and compete. Playing golf for the whole lockout, you don't get to compete like that.

I pride myself on doing whatever's asked of me, but there's no question that's what I like to do. It certainly gets me into the game that way.

I didn't feel my best. It's funny, I've never had a groin injury. They're kind of nagging. They don't hurt; you just feel a lack of strength. I've talked to a few buddies, and it appears that it's a trend around the league right now.

I played for a lot of years in this league with integrity and honor. I'm proud to be who I am. I don't feel bad. But I feel the whole situation is regrettable.
