The Governor is the leader of the Republican Party. Out of respect for his position and his decision, I have decided to stop my campaign for the United State Senate.

That is a looming disaster for our party to have a candidate who only gets the support of the Republican Party.

His decision seemed to leave John Spencer, a former mayor of Yonkers, as the party's most likely challenger.

I'm very much looking forward to Feb. 8. I can say this honestly – whatever decision is made, I'll respect it and go about my business. But I will always wish Wyoming Valley West football the best of luck.

Well, I think the Republican Party is the more populist party.

This decision allows people to put that lawn sign up, to join a political party, to participate in an election campaign.
