The government of the United States is not in any sense founded upon the Christian religion

Almighty God, we make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy holy protection; that Thou wilt incline the hearts of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to government

The United States calls on the government of Iran to allow freedom of religion for all Iranians, and to ensure the right to freedom of speech and expression for all its citizens, without fear of discrimination, intimidation or imprisonment.

Some day, following the example of the United States of America, there will be a United States of Europe

I believe this government is ready to negotiate, but I'm not sure the United States is ready.
