The government is not defending the people in the provinces. Neither this government nor previous ones have helped us negotiate with the companies.

We granted a suspension to talk with administration officials, but lifting the strike depends on the agreements we reach.

[The protests] are suspended momentarily while we engaged in a dialogue. But either we will have results from the talks or we will return to the previous measures.

Clearly this new Iraqi government must perform on behalf of the Iraqi people. But the new government also gives us a chance to correct our mistakes and do our part to make Iraq work.

All of us in Fiji, the Government and the people, are very proud for what you have achieved in reaching the finals of this year's Hong Kong Sevens.

My people come here for a fair reason. And I feel like the government is holding us back from our ambitions.
