The future of this republic is in the hands of the American voter

The average man votes below himself; he votes with half a mind. A man ought to vote with the whole of himself. The question is not so much whether only a minority of the electorate votes. The point is that only a minority of the voter votes.

Only Americans can hurt America.

Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed - else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die.

For too long we've been told about "us" and "them." Each and every election we see a new slate of arguments and ads telling us that "they" are the problem, not "us." But there can be no "them" in America. There's only us.

I deplore the need or the use of troops anywhere to get American citizens to obey the orders of constituted courts.
