The foremost thought I have, is, that I'm now a mother.

My favorite consultation was with a mother and daughter for a homecoming dance. The young lady put on her homecoming dress and her shoes and the mom was just so excited to be able to have something made just for her daughter. A piece of jewelry she could keep forever that was heirloom quality. And the daughter was thrilled to have jewelry that no one else was going to have and it was all under a $100.00.

I thought we were going to be second for sure. When we made the last jump, I thought the other horse had it. But my horse just dug all the way to the wire.

This is a mother-daughter thing for us. We always do it together. I can't imagine not doing it.

She felt lately as though she had served her purpose, done her job, and been dispensed with, not only by her children, but by her husband as well.
