The forecasts indicate some salmon stocks are down in 2006. Managers will be looking for suggestions from industry on how to structure the season so it is equitable to all fishers and protects the resource.

We just don't know what's going to come out of the process. The best anyone can hope for would probably be a season that would be the same as what we had last year.
