The focus of the game was to play quality defense. We knew this World Select Team had shooters and would execute, so our focus was not to leave anybody open and the guys did a pretty good job of doing that.

We knew this European team was going to be extremely well-coached and we knew they'd be very talented. We had our work cut out for us. ... They never stopped being physical, the European team. They fought until the end, and that's what I expected of them.

Anybody who watched the game, that speaks for itself. When they stepped it up, it lifted everybody else.

A situation like this is very unique. You very seldom have the chance to coach 10 good players. On a team you might have three or four or five, but you're talking about 10 quality players.

Our focus for these games has been to play four quarters of intense, Western defense. Our biggest thing was just to help on the ball, help in on the post, and focus on limiting them inside.

Our whole focus was to wear him down and make him play defense. We wanted to make him work for everything he got on offense.
