The first time I saw the lights I wanted to be under them one time.

I thought I lost my chance.

When I got expelled, it opened up my eyes. It made me realize what I was missing and things I needed to be doing.

The way I see it, everyone has to go through me anyway, so it doesn't matter what order that happens in. I don't care. Draws never seem to go my way anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

That gave me a lot of confidence. It was a great opportunity for me, and I'm really thankful I was able to get it.

I feel really good right now, and I know I'm ready. I know I want it more than anyone else. I've worked 12 years for this. I want to feel what it feels like to be a state champion. I don't get another chance. I expect nothing less than to win.
