The fear there is the unknown.

It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more.

Only the unknown frightens men. But once a man has faced the unknown, that terror becomes the known.

Remember that fear causes to happen the very things it fears. That's why fear should be unknown to us.

People are supposed to fear the unknown, but ignorance is bliss when knowledge is so damn frightening.
