The entire quest is for acceptance. You run from pillar to post for being accepted as you are. This quest ends only when you realize that the most important in life is to accept yourself totally, wholly and completely. Unfortunately, that is a long drawn process and it takes time to reach that level. However, once you reach that stage, you are at entire peace with yourself.

In your quest for peace within, you follow several paths. Over a period of time, the path which is meant for you shows up just like the opening up of petals of a bud. Tread on it and make the world more beautiful!

You realize the speed at which you are going to move while ascending. You can reckon the speed at which you were going while descending. In between, you are too engrossed in the journey.

Life is a closed loop control system. You take inputs from your environment, from what you read, from your social interactions and from your family and it goes as a feedback into your system, modifying you a little every day. Those who are obstinate are like an open loop control system where nothing affects them. It isn’t really good to remain in an open loop for not only will you be isolated, but also miss out important things in life. It isn’t too wise either to let that feedback system be so strong that you forget your own ideals and principles. A balance is necessary.

After you cross a hurdle, it looks so easy. Sometimes, it may feel that it was always possible. However, for that feeling of euphoria, you have to slog. After all, nothing comes for free!

Charity is the best form of prayer. Do whatever little you can to help the not so fortunate. You may donate a small portion of your income, you may take out time to teach the underprivileged children, sponsor a meal for the hungry or just spend some time with an old lady who has no one. I am sure that you will move one level high on the spiritual plane. Like prayers, doing charity once is not enough. You have to do it continuously, as much as possible.
