The doctor told her she could keep coaching if she could tone it down on the sidelines. Anyone her knows her or has seen her coach knows that's not possible. She's intense, that's her style and she can't do it any other way because to her that would be giving less than 100 percent and she just can't do that.

It was an awesome game. Could not have asked for more effort and intensity and execution from this group.

Looking back on that state title run it seemed like the smoothest ride in the world as a player. But after coaching for the past three years I can imagine what kind of stress she must have been under.

We knew we had to come out strong. We just beat 'em to the ball and hustled really hard. That's how we handled their physical play.

I love high school soccer, just the competition of it. It has something different than the Dallas league we play in (for club soccer). We have something more to work toward, like state and all that. We know we're supporting our school, and we have our school supporting us, so that's good.

Why I Cannot Relate

So instead I want to say

Because that is the only thing that makes sense to them
I cannot relate sometimes
Frustration of society
So I seclude myself
But I actually would like to find that one person
Who would like to know those thoughts I cannot express
That person will take the time
To relate
Truly understand
So that way when I say
i DoNt KnOw
They will actually realize
That I know much more.
