The data show that under any scenario you use, people are going to get more money from the current system than risking any of it in the [stock] market, ... Fundamentally privatization is bad for gay people and straight people alike.

The church hierarchy is attempting to scapegoat gay people for its own failure to address the sexual abuse of children and young people that it alone created and covered up. The evil in this is that they are trying to equate being gay with sex abuse, which is appalling.

I like to think that next year, they'll go someplace else. But there's a lot of money to be made here. For every grow we find, there's probably two or three we don't. And you know, if you make $8 or $9 million one year, you'd probably be tempted to come back the next year.

This is a much-needed win for a national movement, ... because we have experienced so many losses at the polls over the last year.

The Task Force thanks the International Lesbian and Gay Association, the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission and Human Rights Watch for their efforts to promote pro-gay policies at the United Nations. It is repugnant that the self-proclaimed 'leader of the free world' will align itself with bigots and tyrants at the drop of a hat to advance the right wing's virulently anti-gay agenda.

The burden is really on them to make this right and set the record straight.
