The Constitution has defined the office of profit; it is being interpreted by the judiciary and the Election Commission. Now, Parliament should define it.

If the prime minister was in the know of it, then he is equally culpable. If he was not aware, then it is for him to introspect as to what kind of government he is running.

This grand-standing will not help. This is the confession of a culprit caught red-handed trying to subvert the constitution and democracy.

It is bad enough that the Minister who represents India in world affairs is implicated in a murky international scandal. What compounds the offence is that he continues to remain External Affairs Minister with your full backing.

It is their internal matter.

I think the suggestions should be given another look and this may be an important case to highlight that.
