The community contributes a significant amount of money to the carnival each year. A lot of people and businesses donate equipment, time, machinery and supplies.

If we don't raise a lot of money this year, the services we provide will be completely limited. I hope it's not going to be really restricted, but without a carnival I feel it will be.

There's a possibility that we might actually run this thing. The people who were able to attend the meeting, I would say a majority, would like to run this thing, if we make a penny or not. ... I think it would be therapeutic for Orange.

I think everyone in this office believes in improving the lives of people in our community and the people around us. That is something I am very passionate about, helping those who wouldn't otherwise be served. ... Everyone should be entitled to this representation.

This is really about helping rebuild a community and have people not just give money, but goods and services. This is not a short-range, but a long-range project.

Some people out in the community have requested this meeting to find out where the tax money is going and it will give us a chance to calm some rumors. There are people with the impression there is a monster out there gobbling up the additional money, but there's not. The price of services is just increasing.
