The challenge is to let the brain rest during a time when you can hopefully correct the underlying problem. You're trying to save the healthy brain; you're not really doing anything for the brain that's already damaged.

It literally suffocates inside the armor.

There is a lot that we already know how to do. Unfortunately, there's a big gap between what we know and what we're doing.

This guy was not after martyrdom by any means. What he leaves behind is a tremendous challenge for the rest of us and a guiding force.

If anything, the march highlighted the human need. The challenge is getting the rest of the story out there.

We had three guys run well and the rest didn't. I was disappointed we didn't do better than we did. I was happy with Derek Lax, a first-year sophomore who I thought would be our seventh runner this year. He's stepped up and been in the top three. He ran great today in his first varsity meet.
