The central pillar of our justice system is due process. You have got to be charged with a crime. Then you can challenge those charges in a court of law with a trial.

Everything in life has a yin and yang – an interconnected, complementary and opposite force. Just as we need the light to distinguish it from the dark, we recognize injustice in the world demands justice to provide a balance.

Vice may triumph for a time, crime may flaunt its victories in the face of honest toilers, but in the end the law will follow the wrong-doer to a bitter fate, and dishonor and punishment will be the portion of those who sin.

All that was required for it to become law was the autograph of one actor.

Rather leave the crime of the guilty unpunished than condemn the innocent.

If people cannot look up to courts for justice, wouldn’t they want to get justice themselves? Even if it means following one’s own law and judgment.
