The bullpen did a great job.

We have an aggressive team offensively. They swing the bats. When they get things going they hit a lot of balls hard into the gap and stuff.

Our job is to develop guys to perform in the big leagues. And the big leagues are all about winning ball games. So we want to develop guys who play the game to win.

On paper we have it all ? speed, power, defense, solid pitching. We should have a pretty solid team.

Opening day is always exciting. We have a talented group of players and if we do the right things and do the things we've been teaching them in spring training, we'll be all right.

I think Kirby kind of made everyone feel like they had a special relationship with him. I know I felt that way and I missed him the last few years.
