The building has had a lot of usage by the university. The decision (to implode it) wasn't easily arrived at.

I don't want to second-guess their decision, but it certainly did well for the University of Washington. We got a guy who was a fantastic fit.

The decision for me to step aside, effective January 1, will permit the university to identify and select the next director of athletics, and then let that person evaluate the program during the season before conducting a national search. It's all on the up-and-up. It was a good business decision for him and for the university. There's nothing worse than to have a coach locked into a five- or six-year contract that doesn't want to be here.
