The bottom line is that we showed we belonged. I'm so proud of these guys.

The experience from the state tournament can't hurt. The three guys who went to state should golf with some confidence.

He really played well at state. He didn't putt well, but he's a very good ball-striker. He couldn't make an 8-foot birdie or his score could've been even lower. A 160 at that course is a pretty good score.

He's a different kid between basketball and golf. He gets in his own world on the golf course, unlike the hyper kid who puts on a basketball jersey.

I believe our north subsection is pretty balanced. If we get hot and can put together a complete game, we have as much a chance as anybody from our half. But that's been a sore spot for us. We haven't had many complete 36-minute performances.

We're coming together at the right time. We're believing in ourselves. When you believe in yourself, things can snowball in the right direction.
