The bells are a very good investment. They never break if they are maintained. I can teach the kids the basics. They may play bells for only one year, but many of them go on to play at local churches.

Students are mostly put off by the sound of opera. But they are more open to it once we talk about what it is all about and the training that goes on behind being an opera singer. This forum allows the students to hear what these voices are like.

Learning should always be fun. They should be having a ball. It's amazing how much they remember when it is fun.

That's my investment in my kids. There are plenty of agencies out there that will tell you that I'm out of my mind.
