The average pastor gets this (superstar) model and most of us sense our inadequacies. We think, 'I can't cut it unless I get some help from these guys.' I think that's the biggest thing.

These guys are so cute, and that's what attracts us to them. But they're also very sophisticated animals, perfectly adapted to their environment.

We didn't have a bunch of divisions then. If you won your league, you advanced to the playoffs. If you finished second, like we did many times, you went home.

We all depend on help and encouragement from others. My concern is when we allow somebody else's work to kill our own creativity and quench what the Holy Spirit wants to do. He wants to use our background, experience and talents.

Hopefully, we can take advantage of our opportunities and match the intensity of anybody that's playing us. We know a lot of people will bring their 'A' game when they're playing us.

Ben is a leader out there for us, no question about that. We are kind of following his lead. Being leaders on this team isn't just about guys who have six or seven years; it is the role that they have and what they have to do.
