The atmosphere was just unbelievable all night... now we travel to Ajax and I'm convinced from our performances so far that we will be able to get at least a point there.

For the first time, we'll have real time information access for many kinds of school district data.

It was based on each school having its own computer. That was something of a disadvantage, but we could live with it because we could eventually compile data from each school into a single database. It's just that it wasn't in real time. By the time we had it put together, the data was two to three days old.

We started developing this back in October of 2004.

We're just going to focus on individual events this weekend. The majority of the team will travel home Saturday night after the individual events, while a couple of the field event competitors will stay to compete Sunday. It makes it difficult to compete in the relays on Sunday, travel home and be prepared for classes Monday morning.

The fee per referee has doubled from South Korea and Japan four years ago when it was $20,000 each. For the first time we're also giving something to the referees and assistants who don't make it. They've worked hard and come a long way, even if in the end they weren't successful.
