The amendment offers to change the current calculations to a system that is less confusing and based on one calculation only.

Some are going to be happy about the decision and some are not. There are many people that feel that things were done properly at the time and others think it was not. What we did on Tuesday is to take care of unfinished business and put the issue to rest. I am happy with the decision (to lift the censure). I think it was the right decision to take.

I think that there are a number of people that backed Bill but what caused him to be unacceptable for some is that he and Dianne would be running against each other in the upcoming elections. For some of the council members, it had no bearing as we were looking for qualifications mainly but for some it really mattered.

He was certainly the star of the team, no matter who we had in there. But things change, which I think is good. I hope Mike goes on and plays out as long as he wants to play out.

I think every staff thinks that. Everyone thinks, 'Hey, we're going change these guys. We're going to do this.' It's not going to change unless the players want it to change, and that's the big thing.
