That was the most important thing we needed was a rebound. We had struggled all game. They killed us on the glass. We got a rebound that we needed.

We came out ready to play. Melvin came in and established an inside presence for us. Once they went down and trapped him, it opened up the perimeter for our shooters.

We just came out slow and couldn't dig ourselves out of that hole and get over the hump that we needed to.

We knew that wasn't our team in the first half. We've been known for going out and competing and that was something that we weren't doing in the first half.

I think we just wanted to come out and compete. Detroit is a very good basketball team. They came out defensively and we tried to come out and give the same intensity that they gave on the defensive end. They're just a great basketball team. We played against a great team tonight. They were just better than us tonight.

It was fun, like being back in high school.
