That term came from the federal government. You're never going to end homelessness, or end people suffering from mental illness and substance abuse, but you can do it better than we're doing it now.

Realistically, you aren't going to be able to completely end homelessness. But we certainly can do a much better job that we're doing right now.

People get really irritated by mental illness.

I don't like the term 'mental illness.' I'd rather just say 'mad.' Just like I always say 'loony bin,' not 'mental hospital.'

Mental illness leaves a huge legacy, not just for the person suffering it but for those around them.
