That really gave us a shot to keep the momentum. If they got ahead there, it would've been different. That was the key to the game.

For us to get out of that with only two runs (was) basically the reason why we won. (We kept) the momentum that way.

We have a way to go to become competitive at the plate. On the positive side, our pitching was good. Unfortunately, we wasted two quality starting performances.

I liked the way our kids bounced back after the game against West.

We made a couple of errors in the first inning that kind of opened up the gates for them. If we make those plays they probably only score one run. Anytime you let a team like Olympia get a lead like that, it's tough to come back.

That's kind of what we need. We've had good production from our 3, 4 and 5 hitters with our seniors. Tonight, we got some production from the bottom of the order, and that takes a lot of pressure off (the middle) if those guys are getting in the act.
