That has to rank right up there with any hit I've had up to now. With this being such a big game and to do that ... it was huge.

Nikki (Garrett) was my inspiration. She told me before that final at bat it didn't matter what I had done before (in the game). Plus I was hitting for her, so I owed her one (a hit).

We have to just keep working. Our bats are starting to come around and we're hitting the ball hard ? we're just not getting the breaks. But we'll come around ? there's still a lot of season left and a lot conference games. We'll be OK.

It's very convenient for us here. It's right in the middle of our field. Oil and gas has always been a big business here, and it's more and more becoming a hotbed of activity in East Texas.

I'm not anxious to be anywhere other than where I am right now.

We have four days of practice and we just have to try to get better in every facet. Right now, I think it's anybody's tournament.
