Superficiality: The denial of facing reality.

People say sometimes that Beauty is superficial. That may be so. But at least it is not so superficial as Thought is. To me, Beauty is the wonder of wonders. It is only shallow people who do not judge by appearances. The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible.

I find it interesting that I don't see too many female truth seekers anymore. What I do see are narcissistic, bigoted, materialistic, obsessive, arrogant, deceitful, greedy, jealous, mean, quick-tempered, resentful, selfish, stubborn, superficial, untrustworthy, vague, vulgar and weak-willed females.

The amount of things you ignore is equal to the amount of things you are afraid of.

Hope is the denial of reality.

I've been criticized more for the things I've done right and or said in truth than any wrong thing I've said or done. I think this is evidence to how deathly afraid people are of hearing a truth that might shatter their perception of reality. Their defense mechanism is on high alert and anything that threatens their security blanket gets fired upon.
