Spanish farmers have been growing GM maize for six years and they have proved that coexistence is possible.

I find it encouraging that this year, the tenth of commercial cultivation, five European member states have given farmers the choice to grow GM crops.

This is the earliest use of maize in this region of the Andes. We have good evidence they were growing the plants on site and that they were processing it into flour.

All things are possible until they are proved impossible - and even the impossible may only be so, as of now.
