Sometimes it's a lot of work, but overall, we are very happy with the program. What inspires me are the people who are here weekend after weekend, donating their time and making an effort.

They don't have role models. So we try to expose them to a variety of professions that might have been invisible to them otherwise the kids need to know about these jobs so they can learn and study in their field of talent. We have some very smart kids.

MDEA will continue to work closely with all interested agencies to coordinate an effective, cooperative pursuit of those individuals who choose to sell drugs in Down East Maine. The actions of these suspected criminals only serve to perpetuate a problem that already impacts far too many families.

We weren't pressed for time. You could start and finish when you want. You can work when you want. It's excellent. You're your own boss.

When practice comes, they both come every day to play and work at getting better. When you're a star athlete like they are, you wouldn't expect that from them. But that's what gets them where they are.

You have to be willing to grow with your child.
