Some years it's a challenge to work with kids. This year it's a pleasure, and those five are a big reason why.

This year I asked if the kids wanted to do it because it takes a lot of work. They were all for it.

The program is set up to encourage kids to read for pleasure and to target kids who may not have had the opportunity to pet or be around horses.
