Some places say they do not lend money. They have kiosks with Internet access and people are getting loans out of state or offshore.

Maybe you wouldn't see one at every corner like you do now. But I don't think you can really make the case that they have to charge such high interest rates.

The great power of the Internet is it allows people who don't know each other... to connect with people with shared interests. The shared interests might be that 'I have a kid with leukemia.' Or, 'I'm a Nazi.' It gives marginalized people more power.

The Super Bowl is helping out. It's nice that people are bringing some money into Detroit.

If you have an application exposed to the Internet that will allow people to make money, it will be probed. You will lose money; you will have problems. The reputation risk can literally put you out of business. Twenty percent to 45 percent of customers will leave you if you report a security breach.

What is pushing people online is the low costs. The Internet will save both governments and end users money. There's a lot to be gained.
