Some people will always be grouchy while others require a reason but almost nothing can dispirit someone who is truly happy.

Before you can be happy you have to choose to be happy. Once you've made the choice the rest is really rather easy. But before you can choose to be happy you have to first decide that you deserve to be happy. How many of us run head on into this wall of our own construction?

If you think our nation is messed up, you should look at the source of the problem. The problem isn't the ideals and principles it was founded on, it's the fact that it's inhabited by people.

A person can change but people do not.
