Some of the people that are currently getting services might not receive services. Or, it could mean that new programming that would've been more helpful won't be funded.

We had been using Linux-based proxies and had some people that understood programming Linux quite well. We liked the idea of being able to customize a solution that was best for us. It is certainly scaleable.

People that watch programming now watch it either on a satellite dish or a cable. Very few people still just really, literally watch over an antenna. So for there to be this vast opportunity for programmers to put on whatever it is they want to put on with no accountability, and for me to have to face a license renewal and an FCC who is very well focused right now on obscenity and things like that -- I mean, I just think those issues need to be discussed.

These people have some sense in their minds of the steps they're going to take in life. Somewhere, they're programming.

We want to get back to business as usual and put the programming on the air that people expect from us. But we've managed to mount a schedule that still provides Canadians with the kind of relevant programming that's of interest to them.

If we put attractive programming on, people will hear about it and want to have access to it.
