A Word is Dead

A word is dead
When it is said,
Some say.

I say it just
Begins to live
That day.

I turned silences and nights into words. What was unutterable, I wrote down. I made the whirling world stand still.

Poetry involves the mysteries of the irrational perceived through rational words

Poetry is thoughts that breathe, and words that burn.
