She's the best defensive player on the team and she doesn't care about points or who gets their name in the papers. It's not about that with any of these girls.

The difference was the defense. We did a good job of knowing where the scorers were. And playing without one of our senior captains, the girls stepped up and did a great job.

The girls know that on any given day they have to be ready to go because you never know. Somebody could be off and you can come in and be the star for us. Anybody can be the star for us. Tara Jacobson has hung tough all season long, and today was her day.

We didn't change anything. We were looking to get help when we needed it, but it was basically man-up and make sure we jammed the middle. That's where they hurt us last time.

We knew we had to maintain our composure, which is something we haven't always done in the past, and the baskets would fall for us. Being this was our first time here, we responded well.

Defensively, I was not happy with it even though we won the game. There were some things that we definitely need to focus on in the defense.
