She's playing well. She'll probably play more than one time before Sunday, but it's really hot out there. She's feeling good, but I think with the heat, I definitely wasn't going to play her 36 holes a day.

I think the first match is the most nerve-wracking, and Catriona and Carin are both very cool and calm. I suspected that Nancy [Lopez, the US captain] would put out one of her young ones early and I wanted a pair with lots of experience. They won't get wound up.

If you got behind, it was virtually impossible to catch them. I think the Americans played unbelievable golf.

If you're going to bet on the numbers, I think it will be USA 131/2, Europe 141/2.
