She's in the zone. She has sense of confidence. Her swing looks good. She's relaxed.

Last year, there were definite leaders in the district, but this year, it's wide open. It's kind of disappointing, because I thought that we would be the definite leaders.

We have three-to-four girls that can bench over 100 pounds, so we can hit the ball far. All we need is fence to hit over.

We are not trying to gear up for any one team in this district. We want to build the skills and execute so when (the playoffs) roll around, we are ready to play.

The volunteers bear the costs, so we encourage them to find inexpensive activities.

We're not 'little 23-4A' anymore. We've got some ballplayers, and it's showing.
