Shelby (Hooper) and Julia (Gregory) had to step it up a bit and they did. Lately I've been putting Julia in a more defensive spot and she sacrificed her scoring, but with Nadine (Meredith) in foul trouble, I had to make adjustments.

Don't ever give up on your kids. And do not be afraid to confront them - I can't tell you how many times we get calls by parents who want us to do something about their kids, but don't want their kids to know they called (the sheriffs).

If you know who your kids are and what they are doing - you are going to be better prepared to keep your kids away from drugs and alcohol.

I will miss all of the girls who'll be graduating this year. But, we have some good returning players that should give us a good nucleus for next year's team.

It was a shame to see the looks on the faces of the seniors as they came off the floor. They didn't need this to happen in their final home game. It's too bad.

I was really happy with the way the girls played, in spite of the outcome. It seemed that we couldn't buy a basket in the late going but still, I think it's the best we've shot all season.
