She would say there's a reason for everything, and it made her stronger.

She took in every stray, any person or animal. She wouldn't even blink an eye. She was someone you could go to.

With as much tragedy as she had, with both her husbands passing away and her two daughters, that woman's faith never faltered.

She would cry over something like that. It broke her heart that something was out there, cold, and didn't have a home.

It was always about everybody else. Even when she was dying, she was concerned about everyone else.

We would very much like to work together again. And we've talked about it for years. For some reason it's been elusive. She would take a movie idea to a network and I would not be available. And of course Voyager happened and it's just been - it's not been in the cards. But I'd give my eye-teeth to work with her.
