She was a coach that just wanted to get into anything she could get into. She loves working with kids and coaching.

The kids love him to death. I brought him in as cross country coach, many of the kids came to me telling me how much they enjoyed him, how much he helped them in their times. They really wanted to recommend him as the new track coach because they felt he could help them get better at what they do.

I have some others that have called to inquire. I'm anticipating that they would be sending in their applications. We haven't received those yet, so I can't mention those until we receive their information.

Mitchell basketball lost several key players to graduation. It's going to be a transitional year to bring along those younger kids. I think it's a great fit to bring Larry in with his fundamentals for the game.

I think he can bring a lot to the table, as far as experience is concerned, to help the younger kids develop a strong game and be very competitive, especially in our district and conference.

We've had a winning program through the years. That will be a better magnet for coaches wanting to come in this area, coming to a quality program that's established and has a reputation of being a winning program.
