She tries to live every day as a good person. She tries to atone for what she did almost 33 years ago.

Leslie is a very hopeful person. She will continue to do the good work that she does here, and she will continue to hope that someday that will be recognized.

She can live under rules and has insight into what role the drugs played. She's a different person. She was used and exploited [by Manson] and the parole board has to look at that.

I don't think I would have been a good mother. Being a parent brings immense responsibility. It's a Herculean task. It would be almost too much for me.

Chris Kyle was a human being, a Texan, Navy SEAL, father, husband, brother, friends to many, and a hero to many; this, at a time when we need all the heroes we can get. I knew him to be a good person, regardless of all the hype floating around in the media.

Sometimes we carry unhappy feelings about past hurts too long. We spend too much energy dwelling on things that have passed and cannot be changed. Some injuries are so hurtful and deep that healing comes only with help from a higher power and hope for perfect justice and restitution in the next life. . . . You can tap into that higher power and receive precious comfort and sweet peace.
