She pitched great. She stayed in it even if she walked a batter. Defense was behind her and she did a great job.

We are playing better than we did last week and the week before that. We still have some potential left in us and I'm pleased with the way we are working.

We've got to win (today) to stay in the district race.

The taste of it is already in our mouth and we are very capable of making it. We lost a pitcher, catcher and shortstop and that's the big three you don't want to lose. But we have six of them that tasted it last year.

The defense is young and fast, plus they have a lot of options down low. The strength of this team is going to be how hard they play. With Christian, Jesse and Dan and a good returning core at midfield, we should be OK.

She played excellently on that end. It never shows up on the stat sheet but defense wins games.
