She gave us a great spark. To shoot the ball like that really got our kids going. I think that helped us on defense too. That was by far the best defensive effort we've had this season.

Our shifting gave us a little left in the tank at the end and that made the kids feel confident enough to win it which is gratifying.

Becker made the all-tourney team. She had two pretty good games. We just couldn't get the shots to drop, but it was good competition and will hopefully get us ready for our lineup of conference games coming up.

We had checked with the ESD (Educational Service District) last week, and they told us about 50 percent of the schools in the ESD were open today.

It's going to allow us to provide a warmer climate, serve more kids.
