Shauna and Val have been my teammates for a long time. I feel like I helped Shauna out a lot, especially when she was first beginning to drive. So I feel like in some small way, I had a part of it. And I'm just so proud of them. They put it together. That's what the Olympics are all about.

It's completely different when we're not competing on our home track and we're just going to make the most of this opportunity. We were fortunate to have some pretty decent training times. I think everybody wishes they could have had a little bit more time.

We never have full knowledge of what we're going into until we hit race day. And even then, it's a crazy sport. You just have to go for it and hope that you have the right equipment. I'm definitely a little disappointed that I'm sitting in ninth place. But like I said, this is bobsled.
