Secondhand smoke is the third leading cause of preventative death in the United States. For every eight smokers that smoking kills they take one non-smoker with them.

Iran has worked with the United States after 9/11. I don't understand why this administration is, once again, leading us towards a war. We need this administration not only to tone down its rhetoric, but stop this belief that somehow the United States should be the policeman of the world,

The death penalty is being applied in the United States as a fatal lottery.

Canada and the United States spent the entire year leading up to the games training to play each other in the final. The fact that it isn't a Canada-U.S. final is great for the growth of women's hockey, but it's tough for the U.S. team. For them to have to switch focus from gold to playing for bronze will be a huge mental test.

Second hand smoke is just a known health risk.

Preemption was repealed in January of this year. Lifting the preemption allows communities to vote whether or not they want to be smoke free.
