Scraping the bottom of the barrel

There is plenty of sound in an empty barrel

I always felt I was scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to get a song together.

Carved the bottom section out, around, in black ink, took the barrel from the pen, and it appeared like the slide at the weapon. Crude, but likely effective in the dark.

Ford is at the bottom of the barrel among major auto makers on fuel economy, but today is a better day. Increasing hybrid production is a good step in the right direction.
