Schools will still use PCs, but they don't have enough of them and the cost of maintaining them is very high.

Because they've been here and know other wrestlers and schools, sometimes it can be a lot to handle. It really depends on the individual.

We faced all the Big Ten schools and they really showed themselves and represented Eastern Michigan well. I think they opened people's eyes up to what Eastern Michigan diving is all about.

It's nothing against those schools at all. Coaches just would rather take a 10-minute drive to play. But the UIL looks at the bigger picture. They see the West Texas teams that have to travel long distances and they say our area doesn't have it that bad.

If you look at other good schools, like (No. 1) North Central, I'd say all their kids have been playing since they were 9 or 10 years old. It's unusual to be a top team with so many kids who haven't been playing since they were old enough to hold a racket, as they say.

It is disappointing that a stubborn minority of pupils, estimated at 8,000 in just 4% of secondary schools, remain determined to jeopardise their education and their futures through persistent truancy. While the causes of truancy are complex and challenging, we will focus on this minority who are responsible for much of unauthorised absence.
