Sam Larson can beat anybody in the state when he wants to wrestle well. Sometimes he's battling his own demons.

Sam is a truly competitive driver. Yes, I want to beat him and he wants to beat me. But at the end of the day, we want both cars up there and we want to make the boss happy.

We talked about everything, about all the demons he'd been battling, some of the low points he'd been to, and I got to thinking that the album needed a real dark song.

I just beat the 12th ranked kid in the state. I watched Hoffman wrestle at Top Gun and Brecksville and I thought I could beat him if I wrestled to my ability. I haven't looked at the district bracket yet, but I am hoping to go to state.
